I wanted to see what one worked (the way I thought they should) and what ones didn't.</p> <p>They all worked pretty much how I thought they should. Except Internet Explorer.</p> <p>That brought a new problem. </p> <p>The recent, css compliant ones like Google Chrome and Apple Safari don't recognize the "embed" thing that youtube gives you to add to your blog. Embed is actually a leftover from the Netscape Navigator days. So, the little trick I had to make the video hidden on the web site, didn't work for them. </p> <p>They took the attitude that there's no such thing as embed, so therefore any rules you give me about it are irrelevant. And to prove their point, they displayed the video.</p> <p>I worked away around it, so now all of the browsers show the video icon on the main page instead of the video. It was supposed to show on the main page, an icon, and the video on the page when you went to that specific page. All good!</p> <p>Yesterday, I updated the computer (from windows update) and never paid attention to what was being updated. There was an update to internet explorer, but hey - maybe it will fix the problems I had.</p> <p>Anyway, it screwed things up again. Menus are wrong, videos don't work (don't even display half the time) the icon is gone, parts of the page disappear sporadically. </p> <p>Now it could be my personal computer. So I put one or the other on the web site for testing. They worked, but not quite.</p> <p>I wanted more random. A complete "take a chance" button to click.</p> <p>Took me a little while to figure out how to combine parts of each, remove the parts I didn't need, and understand what the hell the message meant when it didn't work the first two times.</p> <p>But I think I got it.</p> <p>Click on the random blog icon on the factory 4 website (some dice for right now) to see it work.
